I went along to a local housing meeting recently.

Locals asking real questions about land, affordability, and what growth on the South Side actually means for their family.

That is the kind of room I want to be in.

But the moment that stuck with me was not about planning.

It was about two people who turned up because they actually care about this community.

Jess Lui and Suzen Gilmore from Commonwealth Bank were there — not because they had to be, but because they wanted to be part of the conversation happening in their own backyard.

Jess is a Senior Mobile Home Lending Specialist based right here in Cairns. Suzen is a Home Loan Specialist who walks buyers through the whole process — especially first home buyers who need someone in their corner from start to finish.
